WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN WEBSTER UNIVERSITY VIENNA AND THE PDC?

The PDC is an Austrian GesmbH which is solely owned by Webster University Vienna. The two institutions share the same campus and facilities and some of the same trainers/faculty.

WHAT IS THE MAIN OFFERING OF THE PDC?

The PDC is specialized in tailor-made programs of professional training seminars for companies. Our affiliation with Webster University gives us expertise in curriculum development.

WHAT IS THE PROFILE OF A TYPICAL PDC CUSTOMER?

Typically, the firm or institution will have an international employee-base with English as the common language. Multinational companies, international non-government organizations, embassies and Austrian companies merging with or acquiring companies outside Austria are examples.

DO PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE CERTIFICATES OR ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR THE SEMINARS?

Seminar participants receive a certificate of attendance for the seminars but not academic credit. Companies interested in academic credit are encouraged to investigate the Webster University MBA program. IN WHAT FORMAT DOES THE PDC OFFER ITS SEMINARS?

Most all of our seminars are tailor-made seminars for firms that are held just for the firm‘s employees. Occasionally, firms have only two or three persons who need training on a subject. Then we try to match them with another firm with the same needs. This results in five to ten open seminars per year.

IN WHAT LANGUAGE ARE THE SEMINARS CONDUCTED?

All of our seminars are offered in English. We offer a selection of topics in German because we have a variety of native German-speaking trainers.

WHERE ARE THE SEMINARS CONDUCTED?

The seminars are conducted where that is convenient for the firm: at the company‘s site, on the University campus, at a seminar hotel or at other locations.
